0345L-WEDNESDAY OUTLOOK & INFO FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MGMT-11/13/19

1-WARNING!!! There have been several accidents concerning deer. This is a dangerous time of year for them since hunting season is ongoing. Deer move around quite a bit near dawn and at dusk. For the most part, anywhere you see clumps of trees along the highway can be a potential crossing where deer will just run out in front of you. In most cases, you may not see them before you hit them. Airbag deployment may occur and you can sustain injury from that alone so keep this in mind and stay extra vigilant while driving in the early morning and at night.

2- Another cold front will pass through the area later today into the evening hours. This will bring a wind shift and very low probabilities for any precipitation. Temps will lower just a little but recover some on Thursday and Friday. Another system will be in over the weekend. Unless we can moisten the atmosphere the weekend system looks to be dry too.

3- Overall, we’ll be warming up some so get out and enjoy any sunshine you can get. Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Wednesday-Sunny with a high near 52. South winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts as high as 29 mph.

Wednesday Night-Mostly clear with a low around 28. South wind 5 to 10 mph becoming north in the evening.

HAVE A GOOD DAY!!
