0335L-WEDNESDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-11/22/23
*Enjoy the next several days before the colder air arrives. We’ll have a front push in on Thursday evening and another stronger front on Saturday evening. Depending on moisture, we could see some snow flurries overnight Saturday night into Sunday morning. The main issues could be ice that forms on the roads overnight as light rain transitions to light snow and the wind chill. We expect overnight wind chill temps in the teens Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday mornings. Daytime wind chill temps will be in the 20s. Keep this in mind if you send the kids outside to play over the weekend.
*The forecast will vary some as the systems get closer and move through so stay up with the latest from the NWS. Overall, we’ll be ok so here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;
Today- Sunny. Highs in the upper 50s. West winds around 5 mph, becoming south this afternoon.
Tonight- Clear. Lows in the lower 30s. South winds 5 to 10 mph.
