0310L-WEDNESDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-11/08/23

*The transition from warm weather to cooler weather begins today. We’ll climb into the upper 60s to low 70s by the time the front gets here. Winds this morning will become southwesterly first then come around to northwesterly with gusts upwards of 25-30 mph. The front should arrive between 10 am and 1 pm give or take. The colder air will start to push in this afternoon.

*Colder temps will settle in and we’ll be back to fall temps it appears through at least next week. Not expecting any rainfall here. We’ll see what happens.

*Overall, we’ll be ok so here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today- Sunny. Highs in the lower 70s. West winds 10 to 15 mph, becoming northwest with gusts up to 30 mph this afternoon.

Tonight- Partly cloudy in the evening, then clearing. Lows in the lower 40s. North winds 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.
