0410L-WEDNESDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-10/13/21

1- THE SQUALL LINE DECREASED IN INTENSITY AS IT MOVED TOWARDS THE AREA. AT THE TIME OF THIS REPORT, WE ARE RECEIVING HEAVY RAINFALL, WINDS GUSTING TO ROUGHLY 40-ISH with the exception of a wind gust at the base of 63 mph, AND SO FAR, NO HAIL. AS THE LINE CONTINUES EAST, IT MAY INTENSIFY AS IT COMES INTO DEEPER MOISTURE.

2-Once it passes our area, we may still have a few showers around but the severe threat will be a lot lower. Everyone can exhale now. It should be out of the county in about 30 minutes or so.

3- Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Wednesday-30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 7am. Increasing clouds, with a high near 75. Southwest wind 10 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.

Wednesday Night-Cloudy, then gradually becoming partly cloudy, with a low around 53. East wind around 7 mph.

FINALLY, Thunderstorms will be back in the forecast later tomorrow into Friday morning as another stronger front pushes into the area.
