0355L-WEDNESDAY OUTLOOK FROM ENID/GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-10/17/18

ENJOY THE SUN TODAY. THE CLOUDS WILL MOVE BACK IN LATER TODAY WITH RAIN POSSIBILITIES THURSDAY AND FRIDAY. No severe weather expected.

1- Overall, mild weather and fairly light winds. Some folks may need a light jacket or sweater but it’s that time of the year.

2- Per guidance, the weekend looks good so far with highs in the 60’s and lows in the 40’s.  Welcome to FALL!!

3- One thing to remember for this fall is the FIRE DANGER. As foliage dries out and dies, it becomes very flammable. Be very careful using anything related to fire and call in controlled burns to fire dispatch. Numbers for each fire department can be found on our GARFIELD COUNTY EM app under Emergency Contacts. Just bring it up and tap the number and then tap call. We have made this easy for you.

4- Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Wednesday-Mostly sunny, with a high near 64. North northeast wind 6 to 11 mph.

Wednesday Night-Mostly cloudy, with a low around 46. East northeast wind around 7 mph.

HAVE A SUPER DAY!!
