0410L-WEDNESDAY OUTLOOK & INFO FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-10/23/19

GARFIELD COUNTY EM is our notification app. You are not ready for winter without it.

1- SNOW? I doubt it here but there is a slight chance in far northwest Oklahoma and possibly the panhandle early Thursday morning. It shouldn’t amount to much if it occurs but even the models, per guidance, aren’t in agreement right now. The first front will push through this afternoon basically as a windshift and a second overnight bringing some rain. We’ll see what happens.

2-As far as PREPAREDNESS goes, prepare for colder than normal conditions and possibly some rainfall late tonight into tomorrow and off and on over the weekend.

3- Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Wednesday-Sunny with a high near 74. South winds 10 to 15 mph becoming north in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 20 to 25 mph.

Wednesday Night-30 percent chance of showers after 1am. Increasing clouds with a low around 43. Northeast wind 5 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.

HAVE A GOOD DAY!!
