0315L-WEDNESDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-10/25/23

*WE GOT RAIN!! We received a bit more than expected but it came relatively slow. Based on the few reports that were called in, Douglas, in SE Garfield County-4.1 inches, at the office-1.75, at home-1.83. The Hunter area was around 1.5 at 2pm yesterday. Let me know what your gauges were and be sure to empty them for today. We do expect another inch or so of rainfall today with higher amounts to our SSE. We’ll see what happens.

*Cooler weather is coming with 2 fronts. The first will bring rain and cooler temps, possibly late Friday, or early Saturday. The second will push in late Saturday or early Sunday. This will be arctic air and we will see the coldest air of the fall. This said, guidance isn’t set in stone on this so be prepared for colder temperatures for the weekend with additional rainfall. I would recommend dusting off your coats if you plan on being outside. We’ll see how this mess comes together.
