0405L-WEDNESDAY OUTLOOK & INFO FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-10/9/19

1- MARGINAL RISK for severe weather later today. We may see some scattered activity during the early morning but it shouldn’t be severe. IF SEVERE STORMS OCCUR later today, timing is roughly from 4pm to 9pm. We’ll update this later this morning if needed. JUST FYI, enjoy today.  Temps will fall below normal later tonight into next week.  

2- Make sure you have our GARFIELD COUNTY EM app. NWS advisories and warnings automatically come through so you will be up to date with the latest info from them. We will also send out information as needed based on our own countywide spotter network and our Operations Center. You would be surprised what we have here!!

3-Overall, we’ll be ok but stay WEATHER AWARE LATER TODAY and we’ll advise as needed.

Tonight-Partly cloudy with a slight chance of thunderstorms. Lows in the mid 60s. South winds 15 to 20 mph. Chance of thunderstorms 20 percent.
