0305L-WEDNESDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-9/06/23

*The front came thru the area yesterday and took the rain chances away but we will enjoy cooler temps with highs around 90. We’ll warm back up Thursday into the mid to upper 90s thru Saturday then we will see a cool off Sunday into next week. We may see high temps into the 70s by Tuesday of next week. Could we be entering fall? We’ll see.

*The FIRE DANGER is still exists so be very careful. If you see smoke or fire CALL 9-1-1. Remember that any controlled burning should NOT be conducted if winds are over 15 mph.

*Overall, we’ll be ok, so here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Wednesday-Sunny. Highs around 90. North winds 5 to 10 mph.

Wednesday Night-Clear. Lows in the lower 60s. East winds around 5 mph.
