0310L-THURSDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT 7/4/24

*HEAT ADVISORY in effect from 12 noon until 9 pm this evening. Heat index values up to 109 are possible. Use extreme caution while outdoors.

MARGINAL RISK for severe weather. Timing- 4 to 11 pm. Main threats will be winds- 60-80 mph and hail up to golfballs in size.

*SEE GRAPHICS ATTACHED. These will change some during the day.

*Overall, during the day, hot and humid. We do expect the front to come through the area by later today but it has been wavering back and forth. Just be prepared for thunderstorms, possibly this morning and again later this afternoon and tonight. We’ll see what happens.
