*GENERAL RISK for severe weather later today and tonight. Main risks are winds to 80 and quarter size hail. We’ll see how that comes together.

*Between the risk for Severe Weather, the Fire Danger, and the Heat, it just might be a good day to stay in and stay cool.

*Keep your eyes peeled for suspicious activity out there as today will not be a good day for the fire situation. OVERALL, we’ll be ok so here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today- Sunny, breezy, hot with highs around 104. South winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 35 mph.

Tonight-Partly cloudy in the evening, then becoming mostly cloudy. A slight chance of thunderstorms. A slight chance of showers in the evening, then a chance of showers after midnight. Lows in the mid-70s. Southwest winds 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph, becoming northeast 5 to 10 mph after midnight. Chance of rain 40 percent. Heat index values up to 108 early in the evening.
