GENERAL THUNDERSTORM RISK later tonight into at least Thursday morning as a front pushes into and through the area. It won’t cool things off too much but will definitely add to the HEAT INDEX due to the humidity. This weekend we’ll heat up as high pressure moves in from the west. Temps will hover around 100 and the heat index could climb to around 105 over this weekend. Just prepare for summer heat!
Overall, we’ll be ok so here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN:
Wednesday- Sunny with highs in the mid-90s. South winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.
Wednesday Night- Mostly clear in the evening, then partly cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms after midnight. Humid with lows in the lower 70s. South winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 30 percent.
