🥵 DANGEROUS HEAT TODAY

An Extreme Heat Warning is in effect from 12 PM–7 PM today, followed by a Heat Advisory through 8 PM Friday.

🌡️ Today: Sunny and hot with a high near 107° and heat index values around 110°. South winds 20–22 mph with gusts up to 33 mph.

🔥 FIRE WEATHER: Elevated fire danger continues today. Hot, dry and windy conditions will make vegetation highly susceptible to fire. A Red Flag Warning is in effect for portions of western Oklahoma from 11 AM–9 PM. Isolated storms could produce dry lightning and strong, erratic winds, creating additional fire-start concerns.

🌙 Tonight: Clear, with a low around 79° and south winds gusting up to 26 mph.

⚠️ Stay hydrated, limit strenuous outdoor activity, take frequent breaks in the shade or AC, and never leave children or pets in a vehicle.

Heat stroke is an emergency. If someone becomes confused, loses consciousness, or develops hot, red skin, call 911.
