HEAT ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM NOON TODAY, UNTIL 8PM THIS EVENING. HEAT INDEX VALUES COULD REACH 107 THIS AFTERNOON.
The heat continues with a SLIGHT cool down expected by mid-week. High Temps will drop into the upper 80s after Wednesday, due to a cold front. There is a chance for thunderstorms as that cold front moves into the area late Tuesday evening into Wednesday morning. There is also a chance for scattered showers and possibly a few thunderstorms each day this week.

Monday- Mostly sunny with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms. Humid with highs in the upper 90s. South winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent. Heat index values up to 106 in the afternoon.
Monday Night- Mostly clear in the evening, then partly cloudy with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after midnight. Humid with lows in the lower 70s. South winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent. Heat index values up to 105 early in the evening.
