0330L-THURSDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT- 10/9/25

Nice weather will prevail along with increasing temps. We should see highs in at least the mid-80s along with southerly winds. Rain chances appear to return around the first of next week. Not much more information on the weather front right now other than I would definitely make every effort to look things over and prepare for winter. Being in the pattern that we may end up in, we may see more ice events than snow events. THIS ISN’T SET IN STONE but I would be at least thinking about how prepared you actually are. More to follow as we get closer to colder weather.

Overall, we’ll be ok, so here is your countywide forecast from the NWS/NORMAN:

Thursday- Partly sunny in the morning, then clearing. Highs in the mid-80s. South winds 5 to 10 mph.

Thursday Night- Mostly clear. Lows in the lower 60s. South winds 5 to 10 mph.

GARFIELD COUNTY EM is our notification and preparedness app. If you don’t have it, you’re NOT prepared! REMEMBER that each days post appears under the GCEM Blog icon on the app.

HAVE A GOOD DAY!
