0300L- MONDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT- 10/27/25
There may be a few hours this morning where fog may become an issue. If that occurs where you are, don’t overdrive conditions. It will be mostly cloudy today and we have a strong cold front moving our way. There will be a chance for thunderstorms late tonight into Tuesday then we’ll be dealing with very strong northerly winds. As stated yesterday, there is a chance that far NW Oklahoma may see a freeze Thursday morning. This also means we may get down into the mid to upper 30s. We have several days to prepare for cold temps so look around the house and at work and get those areas sealed up. Don’t forget the outside animals too.
Overall, we’ll be ok, so here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN:
Monday- Patchy fog this morning. Highs in the mid-60s. East winds 5-10 mph.
Monday Night- Cloudy. A chance of showers with a slight chance of thunderstorms after midnight. Lows around 50. Southeast winds 5 to 10 mph, becoming northeast with gusts up to 20 mph after midnight. Chance of rain 50 percent.
