0320L-WEDNESDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT- 12/17/25
DENSE FOG ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM THIS MORNING. There may be some areas that could encounter some freezing fog so use extreme caution and slow down especially on bridges and overpasses. Other than this, we should have a warm and windy day.
As stated yesterday, Fire weather is still in play due to foliage being dead. As we warm up a little and the winds come up and humidity goes down, that threat will exist. If you see smoke or fire, call 911.
Overall, we’ll be ok so here’s your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN:
Wednesday- Areas of dense fog and dense freezing fog in the morning. Partly sunny. Highs in the mid-50s. Northeast winds around 5 mph, becoming south with gusts up to 20 mph in the afternoon.
Wednesday Night- Mostly cloudy. Lows in the lower 40s. South winds 10 to 15 mph, becoming southwest 15 to 20 mph after midnight.
