0300L-THURSDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT- 12/25/25
MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!
We will be very warm and windy with some gusts upwards of 25 mph. Our next chance for cold weather looks to be later on Sunday and especially on Monday. Right now at 0250L it’s 54 degrees which is 10-15 degrees warmer than our normal High temp for late December. It’s not the first time we’ve been this warm so Enjoy the warmth, winter will return.
Overall, we’ll be ok so here’s your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN:
Christmas Day- Areas of fog in the morning. Mostly sunny. Highs in the upper 70s. Southwest winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.
Thursday Night- Partly cloudy in the evening, then clearing. Lows in the upper 40s. Southwest winds 10 to 15 mph, becoming west 5 to 10 mph after midnight.
