0315L-FRIDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-12/22/23

*STAY ALERT TO YOUR SURROUNDINGS WHILE OUT SHOPPING.

*Today looks to be warm and still a little humid with south winds around 5 to 10 mph. We should become partly cloudy early then mostly sunny by mid-afternoon. Now, there is a weak front that may make it here this morning but shouldn’t have any major impact on us other than a slight wind shift. This front will wash out just south of our area by late morning.

*Rain will return to the area later on Saturday into Sunday. If the next storm system hangs out a bit longer, and the Sunday cold front makes it into the area on time, we “could “see some snow flurries early Monday morning as temps will drop into the mid-30s by 0600 local time Monday. We’ll have to wait and see how all this mess develops and how forecasts verify.

*Overall, we’ll be ok so here is your forecast for today from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today- Partly sunny. Highs in the lower 60s. Southwest winds 5 to 10 mph.

Tonight- Mostly clear in the evening, then becoming mostly cloudy. Patchy fog after midnight. Lows in the mid-40s. South winds 5 to 10 mph.

*Download our GARFIELD COUNTY EM app as this is extremely important now for all of Garfield County and the surrounding area. Download Enid’s CITY CONNECT app as it grows for the citizens here in Enid.

HAVE A GOOD DAY!
