0330L-SATURDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-12/23/23

*DENSE FOG ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 AM CST THIS MORNING.

* WHAT…Visibility one quarter mile or less in dense fog.

* WHERE…Portions of central, east central, northern, northwest, southeast, southern, southwest, and western Oklahoma and northern Texas.

* WHEN…Until 11 AM CST this morning.

* IMPACTS…Hazardous driving conditions due to low visibility.

FOG this morning along with increasing winds this afternoon. Rain is possible this evening and overnight. Not expecting any severe weather but it’s not completely out of the question right now. Winds will increase on Sunday as a cold front moves in later in the day shifting winds from the NW late Sunday afternoon.

*Overall, we’ll be ok so slow down in the fog and secure anything that could take flight around the house. Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today-Widespread dense fog this morning. Mostly cloudy. Highs in the mid-60s. South winds 10 to 15 mph.

Tonight-Showers. A slight chance of thunderstorms in the evening, then a chance of thunderstorms after midnight. Lows in the mid-50s. Southeast winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph. Chance of rain near 100 percent.
