0335L-FRIDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-12/24/21
1- Very warm with highs in the upper 70s into the low 80s. Winds will be strong out of the southwest and the fire danger will be critical. There is a RED FLAG WARNING just to our west. Keep a close eye all around and call 911 if you see smoke or fire.
2- Weather-wise, nothing happening except warmth and wind. There will be some cloud cover today and probably a lot of dirt in the air so be prepared for that.
3- It’s CHRISTMAS EVE and there are many out there looking to ruin your day and holiday with possibly theft, intentional accidents, abduction, and even worse. PAY ATTENTION by using SITUATIONAL AWARENESS and keep an eye out for others especially in parking lots as folks start and finish their Christmas shopping today.
4- Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;
Today-Increasing clouds, with a high near 81. Southwest wind 15 to 25 mph, with gusts as high as 35 mph.
Tonight- Cloudy during the early evening, then gradual clearing, with a low around 49. South wind 15 to 25 mph becoming west after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 35 mph.
