0340L-SATURDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-12/25/21

1-MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE! HOPE YOU ALL HAVE A GOOD DAY!

2- WEATHER-WISE, it will be cooler as a weak front pushed into the area overnight. Winds will be gusty at times so be careful out there. Fire weather concerns will continue for the foreseeable future. Remember to call 911 if you see smoke and/or fire. Temps will fluctuate this week but stay mostly above normal through the end of the year. There is a LOW chance for possibly some rain late Monday evening into Tuesday but the moisture may stay east of us. We’ll see how that works out.

3-Overall, we’ll be ok so here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Christmas Day-Mostly sunny. Cooler. Highs in the upper 60s. Northwest winds 10 to 15 mph.

Tonight-Partly cloudy. Lows in the lower 40s. Light and variable winds becoming southeast around 10 mph after midnight.

STAY SAFE
