1745L-FRIDAY EVENING UPDATE FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT.
1- The attached radar pic is from right now in the Texas Panhandle. This storm has a history of possible tornadoes. The NWS/AMA is waiting for confirmations in this area near Cactus, TX. These storms are heading towards Guymon. If you plan on traveling out west, PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO THE WEATHER OUT THERE!!
2- For us here in the north central part of the state, we may see rain later tonight into tomorrow morning. We are not expecting severe weather here in the area if at all, but everything will depend on moisture and convergence from these systems. Overall we should be ok.
3- If storm do occur, expect heavy rainfall, gusty winds, and maybe some small hail. As stated, we aren’t expecting any severe weather here in our area.
If this changes and conditions were to get bad, I KNOW HOW TO WAKE YOU UP!!
