0410L-FRIDAY OUTLOOK & INFO FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-2/22/19

1) Rain is in the forecast. Severe weather for us isn’t likely BUT not totally out of the question. Moisture is returning along with a storm system that’s approaching so we’ll see what happens. Today is no biggie. Saturday will be very windy and colder once the front pushes in.

2) If you plan on traveling SE or NW, check your forecasts as severe weather will affect the southeast part of Oklahoma and a winter storm will be affecting Kansas and Nebraska. Road conditions can be found on the front page of our gcem.org website for all states around Oklahoma.

3) Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today-Patchy fog in the morning. Cloudy with a slight chance of rain showers and patchy drizzle. Highs in the mid-40s. East winds around 10 mph. Chance of showers 20 percent.

Tonight-Cloudy with a chance of rain showers and isolated thunderstorms. Lows around 40. Light and variable winds becoming southeast around 10 mph after midnight. Chance of precipitation 50 percent.

HAVE A GOOD DAY!!
