0316L-FRIDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-1/14/22
…WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 8 PM THIS EVENING TO 5 PM CST SATURDAY…
1-Warm and windy as we wait for a cold front to enter the region this afternoon. Tonight, as we cool down, there is a chance for some precipitation. It may be rain to start and then change over to snow during the early morning hours. Don’t hold your breath on this but right now, any precip would be nice. We won’t receive enough to make any difference on the drought but as stated, anything at this point would be good.
2- Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;
Friday-Mostly cloudy. Highs in the lower 60s. Southeast winds 10 to 20 mph.
Friday Night-Partly cloudy. A chance of rain showers in the evening, then a slight chance of rain showers and snow showers after midnight. Windy, colder. Lows in the lower 20s. North winds 20 to 30 mph. Chance of precipitation 40 percent.
3- We are back to no new graphics in Norman so we’ll just wing-it.
Stay safe
