0350L-FRIDAY OUTLOOK & INFO FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MGMT-7/24/2020

1-Not much to say other than today’s weather will be similar to yesterdays. Storms are possible as the atmosphere remains unstable. Severe storms are not expected but some cells could become severe due to winds and possibly some hail. Storms will be diurnal in nature again so convective temps should be reached around mid-afternoon. It’s not out of the question to see some showers around the area this morning either. We’ll see what happens.

2- Overall, we’ll survive so here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today-Partly cloudy with a slight chance of thunderstorms. Highs in the lower 90s. Southeast winds around 10 mph. Chance of thunderstorms 20 percent.

Tonight-Mostly clear. Lows in the lower 70s. Southeast winds around 10 mph.
