0355L-FRIDAY OUTLOOK & INFO FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MGMT-7/31/2020

1- GENERAL RISK for thunderstorms possibly later today. As it appears, we will be cooler and the humidity will be noticeably less so chances for rain are very low since a cold front pushed through the area.

2- It will remain cooler than normal through the next 5 days or so before we start to warm up to at least normal temps for this time of the year. Overall, we’ll be ok.

3- Per my totals for the last week and a half, we have received 11.6 inches of rain. I feel we are good for a while. Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

TODAY-10 percent chance of showers before 7am. Partly sunny with a high near 83. North wind 10 to 15 mph with gusts as high as 21 mph.

TONIGHT-Mostly clear with a low around 61. North wind 5 to 10 mph becoming light north northwest after midnight.

HAVE A GREAT DAY!!
