0415L-FRIDAY UPDATE FROM ENID/GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-6/15/18

JUNE 15TH!! TIME IS MOVING TOO FAST!! Just think, it will be winter before we know it..

1- Hot again today with the blow torch effect (wind).

2- The Drought Monitor is out and we are now split between a Moderate and Severe drought conditions. Moderate is the eastern half and severe is the western half of our county.

3-High humidity will roll back in here late this weekend. We’ll see what may actually happen rain-wise depending on which models verify. Right now, rain is a 50/50 thing.

4- Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Friday-Sunny and hot with a high near 99. South winds 10 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.

Friday Night-Mostly clear with a low around 76. South winds 10 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.
