0250L-FRIDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT 6/21/24
*THE HEAT IS ON. This should be an ample WARNING to everyone. It is summertime and we get hot. How long will this heat last? Probably until Fall. We won’t be above 100 all the time but summer does bring warmer and hotter temperatures. This said, I put this link on my post yesterday and will maintain it through the hotter times. TAKE THE TIME to read through some of this information. It just might save your health and possibly your life.

*Weather-wise, mostly hot and dry for now. Our next chance for rain MIGHT be around the middle of next week. This isn’t set in stone but it’s a chance. Also, winds will become a factor along with the fire danger this afternoon through next week. If you see smoke or fire, call 911.
*Overall, we’ll be ok so here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;
Today- Partly sunny. Highs in the mid-90s. South winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.
Tonight- Partly cloudy. Lows in the mid-70s. South winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.
HAVE A GOOD DAY!
