0345L-FRIDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-3/5/21
1- As of 0315L we have accumulated ½ inch of rainfall. Not complaining, we needed it. The moisture will give way to drier air as the front pushes through and we may see some sunshine this afternoon. Rain may persist for a while this morning so just be patient and enjoy the rain. At least it isn’t -5 degrees with blowing snow.
2- Overall, we’ll be ok so enjoy the day and this weekend looks good except for some strong winds at times. Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;
TODAY-Mostly cloudy. Rain showers likely this morning and this afternoon. Cooler. Highs in the upper 50s. Northeast winds 15 to 20 mph. Chance of showers 60 percent.
TONIGHT-Mostly clear. Colder. Lows in the mid-30s. Northeast winds around 10 mph in the evening becoming light and variable.
