0400L-FRIDAY OUTLOOK & INFO FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MGMT-5/29/2020

1- The upper low moves out and high pressure moves in meaning we will see sunny days and cool nights for the next 7 days.

2- Over the last several weeks we were under severe weather watches and warnings at times but we didn’t receive a lot of rain. That said, the southwest quadrant of the county has areas classified as a moderate drought area and areas that are abnormally dry. As this trend continues and we dry out the fire danger will slowly increase. Be extremely careful utilizing anything related to fire. I will post more information concerning this over the next several days.

3- Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today- Mostly sunny with highs in the lower 80s. Northeast winds around 10 mph.

Tonight-Mostly clear with lows in the upper 50s. East winds around 10 mph in the evening becoming light and variable.

HAVE A GOOD DAY!!
