0345L-FRIDAY OUTLOOK FROM ENID/GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-11/2/18

1- I will start today once again with the forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Friday: Mostly sunny with a high near 63. Northwest winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts as high as 20 mph.

Friday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 43. South-southeast winds 5 to 15 mph.

2- Concerning our GARFIELD COUNTY EM app: If you are having an issue with something within our app, touch the settings icon-upper right, then tap DEVELOPER FEEDBACK, put in your information, the problem, and then send it directly to them. I like this feature because there are many phones out there that are different and some things on the app may or may not work properly. They will fix it and send that fix back to you. I have done this myself so utilize it. WE CAN’T FIX IT IF WE DON’T KNOW IT’S BROKEN!!

I will put some tips concerning our app in here each day to help you learn how it works.

3- Overall weather-wise, it appears we’ll be ok for a few days.  Keep one thing in mind when it comes to LONG RANGE winter forecasts. These are generated by computer models based on past trends and “predicted” trends. Anything over 3-5 days is mostly an educated guess. That said, it’s best to be prepared and informed. No need to panic but keep in mind, WHAT IF?

HAVE A SUPER DAY AND STAY SAFE.
