DEEPEST CONDOLENCES FOR OUR MILITARY FAMILY AT VANCE AIR FORCE BASE.

1-The WSR 88 D Vance Weather Radar is down. New parts have been ordered and hopefully it will be back up soon.

2- At approximately 2344L just before midnight there was an earthquake measuring “4.0” one mile north of Fairmont in central Garfield County. There were several weaker rumbles before and so far a weaker 2.8 shortly after midnight. No injuries or damage has been reported to my knowledge.

3- Overall for today, rain, possibly a snowflake or two, cloudy and cold. Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today-Mostly cloudy and colder. 40% chance of thunderstorms in the morning with a low chance of snow through the day. A chance of rain in the afternoon. Highs near 39. North winds 10 to 15 mph.

Tonight-Mostly cloudy with lows in the mid-20s along with light and variable winds.
