0315L-THURSDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT 11/7/24

*Want more rain? It’s possibly coming so be ready for additional rainfall starting this evening or overnight but definitely on Friday. We could see around an additional 2 to 4 inches. We’ll see what happens. By the way, severe weather appears to remain down south so we will expect some thunderstorms but on the sub-severe side, at least for now.

Overall, we’ll be ok so here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today- Sunny. Highs in the lower 60s. Northeast winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.

Tonight- Showers likely with a slight chance of thunderstorms in the evening, then showers likely with a chance of thunderstorms after midnight. Locally heavy rainfall possible after midnight. Lows in the mid-40s. Northeast winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph. Chance of rain 70 percent.

Finally: I had a few inquiries concerning the Hurricane in the gulf. It appears that it won’t affect our area at all as it looks to track more to the west and then possibly SW into southern Mexico.

HAVE A GOOD DAY!
