0415L-FRIDAY OUTLOOK & INFO FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-10/25/19

1- Cold, Damp, and Rainy weather on tap for the day. Rain chances will be around for a while then pushing completely out of the area early tomorrow. Many, including myself, didn’t care for the high humidity and heat but this ranks on the I DON’T CARE FOR THIS EITHER spectrum. Hopefully tomorrow and part of Sunday will be a bit warmer before the next several fronts push in next week bringing precip of some sort with it.

2- I have 1.15 inches of rain in my gauge at home as of 3:45am this morning. On our Garfield County EM app, there is a new icon that states ASK THE DIRECTOR. Use this for rain totals from now on and use the Damage Reports only for actual damage. It’s just a little quicker.

3- Overall, we’ll be ok so here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

 Friday- Rain mainly before 11am. High near 53. North wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

Friday Night-20 percent chance of rain after 8pm with mostly cloudy skies. Low around 37. North wind 5 to 10 mph.

STAY WARM AND HAVE A GOOD DAY!
