0300L-FRIDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-9/23/22

1- Hope you enjoyed the cooler weather yesterday as temps will rise back up into the 90s today with southerly winds gusting to 20 at times. No rain in sight now for the foreseeable future. Saturday should be in the 90’s then another front pushes in early Sunday bringing us down into the 80’s for highs and the 50’s and 60’s for lows.

2- Again, keep an eye out for smoke and fire as the Fire Danger creeps upward and watch for suspicious activity all around the area. Overall, we’ll be ok so here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Friday-Sunny, with a high near 93. East wind 5 to 15 mph becoming south southwest in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph.

Friday Night-Partly cloudy, with a low around 65. South wind 6 to 10 mph becoming east northeast after midnight.
