0320L-FRIDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT 9/06/24

*No rain overnight unfortunately so we’ll be watering the yard since there is no rain in the foreseeable future. It looked promising last night for a while but we all know that result now. There is a very slight chance we could see a shower this morning so we’ll see what happens. Temps will average in the mid to upper 80s for highs with a stray low 90 out there and lows will average in the upper 50s to low 60s range over the next 5 days or so. It’s early September so we’ll take the cooler temps but keep in mind that we are in a severe drought now and Dewpoint temps and Humidity will be lower. The fire danger will be increasing so be careful out there.

*Overall, we’ll be ok so here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today- Sunny. Highs around 90. Northeast winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.

Tonight- Mostly clear. Lows in the upper 50s. Northeast winds 10 to 15 mph.
