0330L-FRIDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-9/9/22

1- Warm temps in the low 90’s are expected today with a forecast cold front that should push in sometime Saturday morning. Winds will shift from the south to the north with some gusts upwards of 25 mph. There is a rain chance with this passage so we’ll see how this plays out. Sundays high should be in the upper 70s to low 80s. Overnight lows should remain in the low 60s and then Monday mornings low should be somewhere in the 50s. Unfortunately, we’ll warm back up into the 90s next week.

2- Overall, we might see rain in the area and then again, we might not. We’ll see what happens for sure after the front moves through. Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today- Sunny. Highs in the lower 90s. South winds 5 to 10 mph with gusts up to 20 mph.

Tonight- Mostly clear. Lows in the lower 60s. Southeast winds 5 to 10 mph.
