0410L-MONDAY OUTLOOK & INFO FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MGMT-4/20/2020

1- There is a chance for thunderstorm activity later today. Not expecting any severe weather but it could occur due to winds and possibly hail. Moisture return for today is not real great but there is enough to cause a few issues if storms do occur. We’ll see what happens. Tuesday and Wednesday will be our better days to see some severe weather along with some good rainfall, per guidance. Again, we’ll see what happens.

2- Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today-Partly cloudy with a 20% chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon. Highs in the mid-70s. West winds around 10 mph.

Tonight- Mostly clear with a 20% chance of thunderstorms in the evening. Lows in the upper 40s. Light and variable winds.

DIRECTOR’S COMMENT

First of all, you DO NOT have a right to know where COVID19 folks live. If they are recovering at home and want to disclose information “out there” then they will. Hospitals and doctors won’t release that info to you and even IF we knew who they are, we won’t release it either. Hopefully this helps.
