0325L-MONDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT 8/19/24
*No heat advisories yet for today but for some, cleanup is ongoing. A severe thunderstorm in the Breckenridge area yesterday caused extensive damage to one farm where 2 barns were destroyed and downed powerlines on 412 and on Market between 102nd and 150th. Stop signs at 102nd and 412 and at 114th and 412 were bent over. Winds, per the Mesonet, were clocked at 79 mph. *Overall for today, we’ll be ok but the heat will still be around. Continue to take those heat precautions. Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Tonight-Mostly clear in the evening, then becoming partly cloudy. Lows around 70. East winds 10 to 15 mph.
