*EXCESSIVE HEAT WARNING IN EFFECT FROM NOON UNTIL 9 PM. Heat index values up to 113 are expected. Use EXTREME CAUTION while working outdoors.
*Remember the front I mentioned yesterday? This is what we call a backdoor front. It may drop temps a little but dew point temps will still be high. Not much chance for rain with this one either. We’ll continue to deal with the heat so just stay hydrated and pay close attention to how you feel while working outdoors along with keeping an eye on the kids and make sure outdoor animals are fed and watered.

Today- Sunny, hot with highs around 105. South winds 5 to 10 mph. Heat index values up to 112 this afternoon.
Tonight- Partly cloudy. Humid with lows in the lower 70s. East winds 5 to 10 mph. Heat index values up to 111 early in the evening.
