0400L-MONDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-8/24/2020

1- Monday through Thursday look dry with temps hovering around the low to mid-90s. Winds look to remain light which is a good thing since we are drying out pretty quick. Keep your eyes peeled for smoke and or fire and report it ASAP. Fire Danger is slowly increasing.

2- Remnants of the tropical storms appear they will miss us here in northern Oklahoma this week so don’t expect any precip from them. If storms vary some to the west then maybe we’ll see some rain but don’t hold your breath.

3- Overall, we’ll be ok. Enjoy the dry weather, the warmer temps, and the light winds. Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Monday-Sunny, with a high near 93. South wind 6 to 9 mph.

Monday Night-Clear, with a low around 67. Southeast wind around 6 mph.
