0410L-TUESDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-8/25/2020

1- Another warm day on tap with light winds. Rain chances are very low right now. We are expecting a cold front at the end of the week so storm chances are a little elevated if storms occur at all. We’ll see what happens with “LAURA” as she moves through the gulf towards Louisiana. If the storm track moves farther west, we could see impacts from her but as it looks right now, the eastern 1/3 of Oklahoma could be affected. If you plan on traveling east or southeast this weekend, just stay up to date with your forecasts from the NWS office nearest your destination. You can find all NWS offices in and around our state here- https://gcem.org/links/

2- Here is your countywide forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Tuesday-Sunny with highs in the mid-90s. South winds around 10 mph.

Tuesday Night-Clear with lows in the mid-60s. Light and variable winds.

HAVE A GOOD DAY!!
