0240L-MONDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-8/07/23

*  3 Minute Storm Siren Test will occur at noon today in Enid, weather permitting.

* As of this typing at 0230L, we have some severe weather on its way early again this morning. Winds to 60 and quarter size hail are the main threats. Movement is SE at 55mph. We will have the possibility of rain this morning and then see some clearing this afternoon then a chance for this once again late Monday night into Tuesday.

* Overall, we’ll be ok so we’ll endure the storms and deal with less heat this week. Here is your forecast for today from the NWS/NORMAN;

Monday- Partly sunny with a chance of showers with a slight chance of thunderstorms in the morning, then sunny in the afternoon. Highs in the upper 80s. North winds around 5 mph. Chance of rain 50 percent.

Monday Night- Mostly clear in the evening, then mostly cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms after midnight. Lows in the mid-60s. East winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 50 percent.
