0330L-MONDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-12/13/21

1- FIRE DANGER CONTINUES. We asked that no controlled burning occur until forecast winds stay below 10-15 mph, this includes gusts. There were 4 fires in the county yesterday, one of which started in northern Logan County and burned into southern Garfield County. Forestry had to be called in to help with that fire. USE EXTREME CAUTION utilizing anything related to fire.

2- Weather-wise, continued warm, windy, and dangerous. There is a chance for possibly some winter precip by the weekend. We’ll see what happens. Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today-Sunny, with a high near 67. South wind 10-15 gusting as high as 26 mph.

Tonight-Mostly clear, with a low around 44. South southeast wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 24 mph.
