GARFIELD COUNTY EM is our app and it does all the above and more. Check it out before you actually need it. Events occur sometimes without warning. This app just might save your life.

THERE WILL BE A STORM SIREN 3 MINUTE TEST TODAY AT NOON IN ENID DEPENDING ON SKY CONDITIONS.

1- There is a slight chance we could see some fog this morning. If we do, slow down and pay closer attention while driving. Foggy conditions can change quickly so stay alert! If fog does occur, it should clear out by noon. Otherwise, a warm day is forecast. Get out and enjoy.

2- We are still in an EXTREME drought so fire weather concerns will continue. Use extreme caution when doing anything related to fire. Call 911 if you see or ACCIDENTALLY create smoke or fire so the proper response can be dispatched.

3- Overall, we’ll be ok so here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today- Partly sunny this morning, then clearing. Areas of fog this morning. Highs in the mid-60s. South winds 5 to 10 mph, becoming northwest this afternoon.

Tonight- Partly cloudy in the evening, then becoming mostly cloudy. Lows in the mid-30s. Northeast winds around 10 mph with gusts up to 20 mph.
