0300L-SUNDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-12/04/22

GARFIELD COUNTY EM is our notification app. If you don’t have it, you’ll definitely need it in the future so. download it today before a major event occurs. You never know!

1- Doubtful if we see any rain today but there is a chance a few times this week as several troughs move across the region. Storm track is the key element but as of reading guidance this morning, the southern and southeast parts of Oklahoma will be the targets for any substantial rainfall. Either way, even with a few fronts that may traverse the area too, temps look to stay warm. As always, things could change so keep up with the forecasts and we’ll see what happens.

2- We are still in an EXTREME drought so fire weather concerns will continue. Use extreme caution when doing anything related to fire. Call 911 if you see or ACCIDENTALLY create smoke or fire so the proper response can be dispatched.

3- Overall, we’ll be ok so here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today- Mostly cloudy. Highs in the lower 50s. South winds 5 to 10 mph.

Tonight- Mostly cloudy. Lows around 40. Southeast winds 5 to 10 mph.

HAVE A GOOD DAY!
