1950L-MONDAY EVENING UPDATE FROM ENID/GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT

1-SHOWERS AND FEW THUNDERSTORMS ARE STILL EXPECTED OVERNIGHT. We are very saturated right now so it won’t take much rain to cause more flooding issues. Some roads are flooded as of right now in the NW quadrant of the county but if driving at night, slow down and stay extremely aware of road conditions.

2-The line of storms out west don’t look too impressive BUT that could change as the evening wears on. We aren’t expecting any severe weather here tonight but we aren’t letting our guard down either. This is a very tropical airmass and there is a lot happening in the atmosphere. If we can get through tomorrow morning, we’ll see a break then we’ll see another front, stronger and colder this time, come through and we’ll deal with some more showers and thunderstorms.

3- Overall, we’ll be ok so just enjoy the showers. I’ll advise more in the morning.

HAVE A GOOD EVENING!!
