0305L-MONDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-7/11/22

1-HEAT ADVISORY in effect from 1 pm this afternoon until 8 pm this evening. Heat index temps could possibly reach 107 later this afternoon. EXTREME CAUTION is advised.

2- We do have a cold front that will pass through the area, most likely, overnight so be prepared for a low probability for thunderstorms. Not expecting any severe but any rain right now would be good.

3- Overall, summer conditions will continue so stay hydrated and stay cool as much as possible. Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today-Sunny, hot with highs around 104. South winds 5 to 10 mph.

Tonight-Mostly clear. Lows in the lower 70s. Southeast winds 5 to 10 mph, becoming northeast 10 to 15 mph after midnight. Heat index values up to 105 early in the evening.
