0305L-MONDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT 7/15/24
*HEAT ADVISORY IN EFFECT AGAIN TODAY FROM NOON UNTIL 8PM THIS EVENING. HEAT INDEX VALUES TO 109 ARE EXPECTED HERE IN NORTHERN OKLAHOMA.
*With high temps around 106 today, use EXTREME CAUTION while working outdoors. Be sure to hydrate accordingly. We are also in a MODERATE drought so be careful out there. With wind gusts upwards of 30 mph today, we ask that you refrain from any controlled burning. TUESDAY looks to be the last day of this heat for a while as a cold front will push in overnight Tuesday into Wednesday. Highs on Wednesday through the weekend should average between 87 to 92. There will be some chances for rain in there also.

Today- Sunny, hot with highs around 106. South winds 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.
Tonight- Mostly clear in the evening, then partly cloudy with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after midnight. Lows in the upper 70s. South winds 15 to 20 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent. Heat index values up to 109 early in the evening.
